The “silent killer” of vision is a disease caused by uncontrolled pressure inside the eye. The most common form of glaucoma gradually damages the optic nerve and, similar to other forms of nerve damage, there is no way to regenerate its function. In general, glaucoma therapy intends to decrease eye pressure and prevent further vision loss. At Surgical Eye Experts, we favor interventions that simplify the lives of our patients. Eye drops are an important treatment method, but not everyone needs to be on multiple bottles throughout the day!

Dr. Collett has been onboard this revolutionary movement and is skilled with instruments like iAccess and iStent infinite. These modern devices greatly decrease eye pressure to minimize the likelihood of worsening glaucoma.
